iPhone X's A11 Bionic Chip Destroys Competition in Geekbench Benchmark Results

Image
The iPhone X was announced last week with many highlights including Face ID, an almost bezel-less OLED display, and a really fast A11 Bionic chipset - something the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus also sport. The SoC has six CPU cores, with the ability to run all of them simultaneously. Now, the iPhone Xhas been put through GeekBench 4, and the single-core and multi-core tests both prove that the chipset is indeed very powerful. The Apple iPhone X beats the competition in the market - like the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Samsung Galaxy S8, and the OnePlus 5, and the Samsung Galaxy S8+ by a fair margin, as seen in this comparison graph. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8 are being powered by a Exynos 8895 SoC, while the OnePlus 5 and the Galaxy S8+ are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoCs. The multi-core scores for the iPhone X are much higher than the rest with the second on the list being the Galaxy Note 8 with 6,784 points, w...

How Microsoft Is Hiding Inside Apple

Image
As Apple rolls out the latest version of iOS to the public, developers around the world are updating applications to iOS 11, ensuring both continuity and compatibility of the code as well as keeping users engaged with the experience. One of those developers is Microsoft. While Windows 10 On Mobile remains a niche operating system that is prized by a small and dedicated community (mainly in the enterprise space), Redmond’s mobile ambitions have not been diminished. Instead its efforts are focused on bringing and keeping users involved with its cloud-based services. Click:   https://youtu.be/NdO3rp5QkdE As well as the heavyweight apps of Office 365 and Outlook for iOS, Microsoft’s suite includes smaller apps such as To-Do. The lightweight app allows multiple lists to be made with checkbox markings, a To-Do list for today, and that’s about it. It is the epitome of keeping it simple (and fans of  PalmOS  will be happy to hear it’s one...

Apple says it will release a detailed report about how Face ID handles privacy and security In the three days since Apple took the wraps off the iPhone X, the forthcoming device's facial recognition capabilities have drawn a substantial amount of attention. Apple fans have welcomed Face ID as the future and the preferred way to unlock an iPhone X. Some privacy advocates have pointed out that the concept seems a little dystopian. But others, like Minnesota Sen. Al Franken, who chairs a Senate privacy committee, want answersabout how it works. While Apple provided few details about the facial recognition system during the announcement a few days ago, the company now says it plans to release more information about Face ID privacy and security before the device goes on sale on November 3. Apple's senior vice president for software, Craig Federighi, said that Apple plans to release a security "white paper" on Face ID in an interview with TechCrunch on Fr...
